Scrimmage #2 vs. Baldwin Park

DE Anthony Morales intercepts a pass and returns it for a TD

DT Kain Sanchez sacks the Baldwin Park quarterback
FB Isaiah "Chino" Mercado rumbles down the field for about a 20 yard run

OL Richard Hernandez III picks up a Baldwin Park pass rusher
The REBELS hosted the Baldwin Park Road Runners for this seasons second scrimmage. The REBELS started the game very slow and played uninspired football. They played to the level of their opponent instead of the normal brand of REBEL football. After hearing it from the coaches during halftime, the REBELS came out firing in the 2nd half scoring 6 TDs, while posting a shutout on defense.

QB Adam Polanco ready to pass
RB Angel Hidalgo runs for a TD
DB Mario Menchaca with the interception
The REBEL O-Line
Today the Rosemead Rebel Pee-Wee team opened up the pre-season with it's Annual Tri-City scrimmage. This year's teams included the Boyle Heights Wolfpack and the Pico Rivera Dons.

The REBELS played well and finished the scrimmage scoring 6 TDs (3 vs BH & 3 vs PR) and only allowing 1 score against our defense on a long run by Boyle Heights.

As always, there are things to work on and get better as a complete team, but it was a very nice showing for the 1st scrimmage of the season.
